About Me

Fatih Naz

Mathematical Engineering Student

Hi there! I'm Fatih, a mathematical engineering student with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for crafting modern, interactive web experiences. I enjoy working with React and Next.js to build responsive UIs, and I'm actively expanding my skills in backend development with ASP.NET Core.

I'm always exploring new tools, design systems, and UI libraries to sharpen my skills. With a background in mathematics, I approach coding with a focus on efficiency, structure, and clarity. I'm also a quick learner who adapts fast to new technologies and workflows.

Education & Experience

Yıldız Technical University

Mathematical Engineering - Bachelor's Degree

2023 - Present
Istanbul, Turkey
I’m studying Mathematical Engineering at Yıldız Technical University, where I’ve been developing strong analytical thinking, mathematical modeling, and algorithm design skills. These foundations have played a key role in shaping how I approach software development today — focusing on writing efficient and well-structured code.

Alongside my studies, I joined the YTU Skylab Web Development Team, where I worked on various projects using React and Next.js. This hands-on experience deepened my understanding of frontend technologies and team-based development workflows. I also began exploring backend development with ASP.NET Core, which is helping me connect both sides of web applications.

Exchange Student - Computer Science

Summer 2025
Brno, Czech Republic
During my exchange semester at BUT, I enhanced my frontend skills through the User Experience and Design of User Interfaces and Services course, focusing on usability and accessibility. I earned the Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate certificate, gaining insight into cybersecurity fundamentals.

It was also when I started developing Spover, a Spotify overlay app built with Electron. Beyond academics, Erasmus gave me a chance to experience cultural exchange, independence, and diverse ways of thinking — shaping me into a more adaptive and open-minded developer
